VOAL - Online Zëri i Shqiptarëve - Mr. MILO GJUKANOVIÇ, STOP THE DISCRIMINATION AGAINST ALBANIANS OF MONTENEGRO! By ARTUR VREKAJ

Albanian Americans are brothers of the same blood of Albanians of Montenegro, who live through a systematically discrimination from the Gjukanoviç's regime as the same Serbian regime under Millosheviç.

The Albanians of Montenegro deserve all human rights and as an ethnic population, which lives as a survivor of Pelasgs and Illyrians as our ancient roots. Their land is populated and flourished from them generation by generation as a part of our national soil and is the biggest Albanian territory in the state of Montenegro, which is separated from Albania's Motherland by ethnic cleansing and waged wars of Montenegrins cooperated with Serbia and the Great Powers, before and after 1878 during the unrested time of World and Balkan Wars.

Gjukanoviç's regime has proved for more than 20 years that, is a dictatorial regime, while indicates and decides to do changes by separating the Albanian lands through administrative reforms with a purpose to decrease the Albanian majority in towns and cities where they are to a minor population and uncountable for their elections, and with a main purpose to speed up the assimilation their Albanian identity. By this strategy some Albanian areas are unpopulated by immigration, because of this Serbian-Montenegrin pressure and poorly living conditions for decades in an undeveloped local infrastructure.

We will voice loudly, that in Montenegro, there is no freedom for Albanians, there is no such respect for our national symbols, such as the use of the national Albanian flag and the Albanian Language.

There is a consistent pressure of the Gjukanoviç's monstrous regime, which is forcing the Albanians to stand on their grandgrandfathers' land by living through a very difficult life.

We never will stop helping our Albanian brothers in Montenegro in a democratic way, by protesting here in the US or by helping them directly there.

We will make sure that Montenegro has to change the course of their politics, to give and respect the full rights for Albanians as an ancient ethnic population and a part of national Albanian population in Balkans, which has the right to exercise the same traditions and cultures with Albania and Kosova as Montenegrins do in their cities and towns.

We will sign a petition and send it to the United Nations, European Institutions, US Congress and Senate to make sure that our voice is herded and our Albanian brothers in Montenegro will exercise their full rights as European citizens, before Montenegro will join the European family.

Gjukanoviç will understand that, Albanian Americans are united as ONE, when it comes to support the Albanian Cause everywhere in Balkans and especially for this case in Montenegro. The Montenegro's Gjukanovic regime doesn't respect its constitution, which underlines that Montenegro is a multinationality state, but in reality, is very racist by acting as a solid dictatorial Balkan regime against unprotected Albanians, who live in their lands as a great example of prosperity and peace with other nationalities.

Lastly, we repeat to Gjukanoviç: Stop the discrimination against Albanians in Montenegro!
